Security members can't leave their post just because it's raining. The gate still has to be watched, patrol still runs, and directing vehicles in the parking area matters more when the road is slick and visibility drops. A raincoat for security is therefore not just protection but part of the duty appearance that has to stay tidy, readable, and visible in the dark. Security vendors and agencies managing many members need raincoats consistent with their uniform standard. We've handled custom raincoat printing for this need since 2003, and this page is about that.
Color Matched to the Uniform Spec
What sets a security raincoat apart from an ordinary one is adherence to the duty color. A raincoat that drifts off the uniform color makes a member look unofficial and undercuts the orderly impression that's a selling point for a security vendor.
For orders with enough quantity, we offer custom-color material so the raincoat matches the duty uniform, whether navy, black, or an agency-specific color. Send your color code or a uniform fabric sample as a reference. If the quantity doesn't meet the custom-color minimum, we find the closest stock color and show it on a sample first, so there are no surprises when the goods arrive.
For the material itself, we suggest thick PVC or coated polyester. It's durable enough for repeated duty use, and the surface takes badge printing cleanly.
Badge, Rank, and Duty Identity
The duty look comes down to attribute placement. We print the security company badge on the chest, the client or agency logo of the guarded site on the back, and rank insignia on the sleeve or shoulder per your organizational structure. For a clean finish that holds up to repeated wear, we use polyflex or print that bonds firmly to the material surface.
Because rank structure and attribute placement differ between vendors, we don't guess. Send your attribute layout, we arrange it, then make a mock-up for approval before the full batch runs. For vendors managing members across many sites with different clients, we can split packages per site, each with its own client logo.
Reflective for Night Shifts
Members watching a gate, patrolling a complex, or directing vehicles at night face a real risk: not being seen by drivers in poorly lit areas during rain. We apply industrial-grade reflective strips on the chest, back, and sleeves so members are visible from a safe distance.
This isn't just about a tidy appearance. When a member directs traffic in and out during rain, the reflective strip is the difference between being seen and not being seen by a driver whose visibility is already reduced. For sites with large open areas and limited lighting, we suggest a larger reflective portion.
Sample First, Then Order Across Sites
For vendor or agency orders, we recommend taking a sample unit first. We make one complete unit with the color, badge, rank, and reflective per spec, so your team can check fit and appearance directly in the field before releasing an order for every member across multiple locations. This cuts the risk of a spec error discovered only after hundreds of units are already printed.
Once the sample is approved, the batch runs on a schedule we set to your member count and contract deadline. Wholesale pricing gets more efficient at volume, and we send the breakdown within a day of receiving complete specs.
